Table Tennis curriculum

3-Month Table Tennis Curriculum for Beginners

Duration: 12 Weeks (3 Months)
Level: Beginner
Age Group: 6 years & above (Can be adapted for adults)
Classes per Week: 3 Sessions per Week
Session Duration: 60 Minutes

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the course, students will:

Understand the rules and scoring system.
Develop correct grip, stance, and footwork.
Master basic forehand and backhand strokes.
Learn serving and receiving techniques.
Build consistency through rallies.
Understand basic offensive and defensive tactics.
Play friendly singles and doubles matches confidently.

Certification Levels

🏅 Beginner Level: Can rally 20–30 balls consistently; knows rules and scoring; performs basic serves and returns.
🥈 Intermediate Foundation: Can execute topspin and backspin consistently; demonstrates good footwork and tactical awareness; plays competitive singles and doubles matches with confidence.
This curriculum is suitable for schools, sports academies, and beginner coaching programs, and aligns well with a structured 12-week training schedule.
