Badminton curriculum

3-Month Badminton Curriculum for Beginners

Duration: 12 Weeks (3 Months)
Level: Beginner
Age Group: 6 Years & Above (Can be adapted for adults)
Classes per Week: 3 Classes per Week
Session Duration: 60 Minutes

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the 3-month beginner course, participants will be able to:

Demonstrate correct forehand and backhand grips.
Perform efficient six-point court footwork.
Execute basic serves, clears, drops, net shots, and introductory smashes.
Sustain rallies with proper positioning and recovery.
Understand singles and doubles rules, scoring, and court etiquette.
Apply simple tactics during practice matches.
Participate confidently in a beginner-level badminton tournament with good sportsmanship.
